For an easy combination, let one element lead and one support it. A lavender lamb with small flowers has a clear soft direction. A soft pink poodle with pearl bows feels dressed up without adding a second theme. Cream and neutral can suit a recipient whose desk or room has quieter colors.

4. Write a short note that sets a priority

A useful order note is brief and tells the artist what matters most. For example:

That gives context without turning a roughly 4 cm handmade piece into a list of competing instructions. Avoid requests such as “make it identical to this photo” or ten separate must-have details.
